Refinery Treats 10.6 bcm of Gas in 9 Months

TEHRAN Dec 29 (Shana)--Shahid Hasheminejad gas refinery processed 10.6 bcm of gas for delivery to Iran’s gas trunklines during the first nine months of the calendar year starting in March, the refinery’s manager said.

Nasser Eslami said the refinery also produced 443,000 tons of sulfur during the same period.

“This facility is among the largest producers of sulfur in the country and it has the daily production capacity of 2,400 tons of sulfur,” he said.

The refinery also produced 92,000 mcm of gas condensate during the nine-month period, said Eslami.
